Support Relief for Remote Villages Impacted by Super Typhoon Yagi

Super Typhoon Yagi has unleashed devastating destruction across Southeast Asia, particularly in Vietnam and Laos. This powerful storm has impacted millions, especially in remote villages where roads have been destroyed, cutting off access to vital resources and rescue efforts.

  • In Vietnam, nearly 19 million people have been affected, with 325 deaths and over 190,000 homes damaged or destroyed. Flooding and landslides have wreaked havoc, leaving critical infrastructure in ruins and causing an economic loss of USD 1.6 billion.

  • In Laos, more than 60,000 children and thousands of adults are suffering the impacts of widespread flooding, with essential infrastructure and homes lost across eight provinces.

  • In Thailand, nearly 64,000 children and their families are struggling due to severe flooding that has destroyed schools and disrupted entire communities.

Mien International Enrichment Network (MIEN) is joing the efforts of the Red Cross, UNICEF, and other organizations to raise funds for the hardest-hit, remote villages in Vietnam and Laos—where landslides have wiped out homes and roads, making these areas inaccessible by vehicles. Our goal is to deliver food, clean water, medical supplies, blankets, and clothing, and to help rebuild homes lost in the disaster.

Your donation will go directly to the relief effort—100% of the funds raised will provide lifesaving support to those most in need. As an IRS-recognized 501(c)3 organization, MIEN offers tax-deductible receipts for all contributions.

Please donate today and help us bring hope and critical aid to these devastated communities.
